DISTRICT COMICS: AN UNCONVENTIONAL HISTORY OF WASHINGTON DC COVERHere it is! Just released yesterday on Creator Owned Comics Day, the official cover of “District Comics: An Unconventional History of Washington, DC”. I am hugely excited about the release of those book for many reasons. First off, its a anthology graphic novel containing tales about true stories based on the history of Washington DC. Its published by the great Fulcrum Publishing, the publishers of the award winning and Eisner nominated “Trickster: Native American Tales: A Graphic Collection”. And finally yes, Carolyn Belefski and I have an amazing unsuspecting story in it (Our characters are actually the girl with the glasses and creepy guy on the cover). We couldn’t be more excited about this release and the opportunity for the world to read this book, we all poured our blood and guts into it. District Comics also has some of the best and most talented storytellers that Washington DC has to offer, some have also been an integral part of DC’s history. We’re really honored to be part of that. I don’t wanna over hype the book just yet, there’s still plenty of months till that press circle run, but you can find out more info on the book on the website of District Comic’s great editor, Matt Dembicki
